There’s a new collection on the site, timed for the season it’s named after — so it’s worth a proper introduction instead of just a quiet new folder on the categories page.

Why back to school gets its own collection

September brings out two completely different reactions in people, and most back-to-school merch only picks one of them. Either it’s saccharine “new year, new you” energy, or it’s pure dread about the alarm clock going off early again. This collection is built to hold both at once, because most people actually feel both — sometimes in the same morning.

What’s in the lineup so far

Right now that means two designs at opposite ends of the mood spectrum: a flatly unimpressed grumpy duck for anyone who is, in fact, not thrilled that summer is over, and a warmer, hand-drawn “new beginnings start in the classroom” design for the people who genuinely love a fresh notebook and a clean slate. It’s a small lineup for now, but that’s true of every OkaneBee collection at launch — new designs get added as the season builds.

Who it’s for

Teachers stocking up before the first bell, parents doing the school-supplies run, and students with strong feelings about September in either direction. If you’ve ever needed a shirt that says “I have complicated feelings about this” without actually saying it, this is that shirt.
