'Open Minds, Open Books': The Sincere Reading Tee the Collection Was Missing
The Back to School collection has a reading-themed pun already in Read More Boooooks, but not, until now, a design that says the same thing without the joke. “Open Minds, Open Books” fills that gap.
A design for the sincere reading crowd
Where a lot of the collection leans on humor to make its point, this one just makes the point directly — an open book, and a statement about what reading actually does for you. It’s a smaller, quieter kind of appeal, and the collection was missing one.
The straight version of an existing joke
It’s worth pairing this with Read More Boooooks mentally — same underlying love of reading, two completely different tones. If the pun is more your speed, go there instead; if you’d rather the shirt just say what it means, this is the one.
Where it sits in the collection
It joins the collection’s other sincere entries — Every Step Is Progress, Learn Today, Lead Tomorrow, and Only You Can Change Your Life — as one more option for people who want warmth over wit this season. Who it’s for
Teachers and students who genuinely love the reading side of school, librarians, and anyone shopping for someone whose favorite part of a new year is the stack of books that comes with it.

Frequently asked questions
Is 'Open Minds, Open Books' a pun design like the rest of the collection?
No — it's one of the collection's more sincere entries, built around an open-book graphic and a genuine statement about reading rather than a joke or wordplay.
How is this different from 'Read More Boooooks'?
Read More Boooooks is a spooky-reading pun aimed at getting a laugh. Open Minds, Open Books is the straight, no-punchline version of the same love of reading — pick whichever tone matches how you actually feel about it.
