Introducing The Manager Meow: Our New Cat-Humor Sister Store
There’s a new collection on the site, and it comes from a slightly different place than the rest of the store — so it’s worth explaining rather than just quietly adding a new category.
What The Manager Meow actually is
It’s a sister store, run by the same person behind OkaneBee, built around a much narrower idea than “cats are cute.” The whole premise is that cats have zero interest in your job, your social calendar, or your feelings — and they let you know about it, constantly, without saying a word.
Why it’s a separate store instead of just another OkaneBee category
The humor here is a distinct enough voice — dry, deadpan, a little confrontational — that it made more sense as its own brand than as a folder inside OkaneBee’s existing catalog. You’ll notice that clicking through to shop takes you to a differently-named TeePublic page (the-manager-meow instead of okanebee) — that’s expected, not a mistake.
What’s in the collection so far
The lineup has grown quickly since launch — from a dramatically starving cat staring down a half-empty bowl and a flatly exhausted “ew people” introvert-cat design, to newer additions like a tired, unamused Monday-morning kitty and a colorful kawaii-style lazy-cats pattern. More designs get added as the store grows.
